

Sputnik Ecommerce Systems was founded in 1999 as a boutique web design and development firm with offices in San Jose, California and Boulder, Colorado. Over the years the company has amassed a number of design awards while working with both startups and established clients such as eLoan, Look Smart, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Namco and Stanford University.Outside of our design and development services, we are currently developing a series of hosted ecommerce applications with initial releases scheduled in the second half of 2008.
Vitaly M. GolombVitaly has extensive experience in marketing with several design awards to his credit, as well as a technical background as an information architect, design and marketing consultant to startups and enterprises. Vitaly has been a founding member of a dozen startups and a featured speaker on the Business Radio Network, at Northwestern Polytechnic University, Cal State Hayward, and UC Berkeley. Vitaly is an active member of the Silicon Valley Innovation Institute Society. In the past he has served on the Board of Directors of United Nations Association of Silicon Valley and as an Ambassador of the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce. Vitaly studied communications at Santa Clara University and earned his BA in Computer and Video Imaging with honors at Cogswell College.
Vitaly is an avid motorcyclist and drummer. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and son.
Armen Gasanyan Armen oversees Sputnik’s day-to-day operations and client relationships. Armen’s background also includes years of large-scale corporate IT infrastructure design and implementation at companies such as Weathernews, FDB, Tech Systems, and Sumitomo Bank. Armen holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Moscow Polytechnical College as well as Microsoft MCP and MCSE certifications.
Armen lives in San Francisco with his wife and son.
Shannon Coen Shannon manages Sputnik’s web development process and technology infrastructure. Before joining Sputnik, Shannon worked for Ticketmaster and Lucent Technologies. Shannon earned his BS in Management Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Shannon has performed around the world as an electronic musician and DJ. He lives in San Francisco and makes his daily commute on a carbon fiber bicycle (with carbon fiber wheels no less).
